RED ROOM BAND
The Red Room Band started as a Blues band based out of Manchester and have since developed to incorporate elements of Jazz, Funk, Soul and Pop. Red Room were formed in 2010 during a Blues session at the infamous Matt & Phreds Jazz club and have gone on to play functions and festivals across the North West such as Roadhouse, Band On The Wall, The Royal Northern College of Music, Liverpool’s Capstone Theatre, Jacksonbury and Hungry Pigeon Festival.
Red Room’s original line-up is comprised of four musicians from the Royal Northern College of Music’s ground-breaking Session Musicianship course - now an acclaimed 4 Year BMus in Pop Music. The founding line-up is: Daniel Brew on Guitar, Jen Langton on Vocals, Mike Sneyd on Bass and Alex Tod on Drums.
The band prides itself on providing a tailored musical experience to suit any requirement and frequently adds or subtracts fellow RNCM session musicians depending on the sound they wish to achieve. Known for their professional, can-do approach, the band caters to public venues and private events alike and travels all over the UK.
A firm favourite on the Manchester scene, The Red Room Band are active in their home town and are affiliated with Dimitris Restaurant, where you can see them monthly and discuss your booking needs in person.
